KGD: HSF Chapter 4

Chp 4: All that what makes us stand out.

A mirror and in the reflection a girl with silky black hair was shown; only something seemed off. Her hair was in a turmoil and uneven in most places, almost as if a someone inexpirienced had given her a haircut. Her tired brown eyes stared back at herself as she tried to collect her thoughts on how she ended up like this. Her lip was split and she had a bruise under her right eye; through it all she could still laugh at her situation.
"It isn't funny, you know!" a sharp female voice shrieked from behind her. That voice belonged to none other then Ino Yamanaka; she couldn't understand how her friend was still this calm. Ino helplessly searched for Sakura's form in the darkness of the badly lid bedroom they were in. Sakura only sighed to state her presence, but even she had no idea how to respond to this. Ayko afterall was known for her stubborness and today seemed to make it stand out even more. The Myoka Heiress turned to face both of her friends with determination.
"It's okay, Ino. I'm fine." Ayko smiled briefly while she attempted to get up. She was pushed back by Ino who's face radiated anger.
"Don't lie to me! Off course you're not after what THAT bitch did to you! Just look at yourself; she brought that upon you! Sakura, say something!" Ino yelled obviously freaked out by what said bitch had done to her friends hair; hair was Ino's holyness afterall and she remembered how long all three of them had worked on it to make it grow out so long and keep it healthy. Sakura though, decided to cut it shorter so she could maintain it better. Ino and Ayko always kept their hair long. Ino's reached the small of her back if it was loose, while Ayko's was reaching a little below her shoulders. But after today it didn't anymore..
"Look Ayko, we should inform the school about this. And I'm sure my mom can do something about your hair, so don't worry." Sakura spoke up softly as she pinched Ayko's shoulder a little; the pinkette being a commoner had normal parents and her mother just so happened to be a wellknown hairdresser. Mebuki Haruno specialised in modern haircuts and still went to classes to gain more knowledge and update her catalog. That's how Ayko, Ino and Sakura met eachother. Because they were accompanying their mothers, Ayko and Ino (both toddlers at the time) met Sakura who was playing at the back of the shop. Who would've thought that many years later they'd still be such close friends. Ayko smiled thankfully at her pinkette friend before she measured her hair; it reached the crook of her neck at it's longest. Her so-called haircut had her captured; maybe it was time for a change..


A day earlier~

15h30; the schoolbell rang as a large stream of students flowed through Konoha Gakuen's main-entrance. Ayko, Ino and Sakura had only now attempted to leave, but since Ayko still owed Naruto an answer both Ino and Sakura patiently waited for her. Off course, said blackhaired teen had been trying to postpone it all day, now without succes. She gathered all her courage before she walked up to the blond that was the subject of her last chat. Naruto on the other hand would be leaving anytime soon, since his friends ushered him to hurry. Thankfully, he noticed Ayko standing not too far away when he'd planned to run out of class. He waved energeticly as he joined the Myoka Heiress at the window.
"Things look pretty from up here, huh-ttebayo?" Naruto whispered glancing here sideways. Ayko looked back earning him a smile from her.
"I guess, you could say that.." she sighed throwing her hair back. When she wanted to speak up he had already turned his face back to the window. "Naruto? About what you asked earlier.. Me and the girls would love to come to the party." The blond guitarist observered her carefully as she spoke; he hadn't expected her to agree.
"Really? That's awesome-ttebayo!" he grinned enthousiasticly. She could tell he was nervous for one part too, since his tic had resurfaced during their talk. "I'll see there tomorow then?"
"Yeah." Ayko giggled. After he left she went to join Sakura and Ino so they could discus what to wear to the party.
